Concept designs for replicating the iconic Daft Punk masks and adding in some technology to expand their capabilities. Working with the Helmet Co, the idea was to crowdfund the development and eventual launch via Kickstarter and produce a book of the journey. Adding wireless technology with embedded LEDs on transparent film would allow each helmet to be treated as a pixel. At a concert venue, Daft Punk could transmit images using each helmet to create a giant screen to display them. At a user level, an app would be created to generate messages that scroll across the visor screen.
Product development of the banana seating at New Line Learning and Cornwallis academies in Kent. The teaching concept is to have 90 students in one large open plan space called plazas. The bananas are used to divide the space into groups of 30 and to create stadium style seating to break away from the traditional rows of desks facing a whiteboard. They had to be movable to create the different spaces but only moved by a facilities manager, not students. Shown is the journey from concept, development, prototyping and the final product installed, ready to be used for teaching.

The architect and client both wanted to develop a new way of teaching moving away from the traditional rows of benches all facing one end of the room. These designs for food tech and science allow the teacher to be more engaged with the students when delivering the lesson.
